Pizza and Chips

This weeks recipe is a make at home pizza and chips that is low in kilojoules but high on taste and nutrition. The trick to making food healthier is to add fibre and flavour whilst keeping the fat content low. A make a home pizza is healthier, tastier and cheaper than the take away version, and I really enjoy the process of putting it all together. Lamb & Vegetable Soup

I want to share this amazing recipe with you from the Australian Good Taste Magazine. Its a delicious, warm, hearty and healthy soup that will satisfy your winter comfort food cravings, without the guilt!

Its low in fat (97% fat free), high in fibre (6g per serve), kilojoule controlled (meaning it wont contribute too much energy to your daily intake helping you to maintain a healthy weight), full of vegetables and tastes amazing.

I cooked up a pot for my family last week and 6 serves was enough to feed myself, husband and 2 year old toddler for 3 nights. They loved it. My toddler even asked for more when she finished! It stored nicely in the fridge and reheated in a couple of minutes in the microwave!
